Eighteen year old Scott Swann has been making a major mark on British championship racing over the past five seasons, two decades after his dad, michael, dominated the Irish short circuit scene. RRI’s Maurice Montgomery meets the Co. Antrim father and son team.

The Great All Rounders: As modern motorcycle sport has split into specialised disciplines, only the most versatile riders have been successful in both BSB and TT racing. RRI’s Phil Wain recalls a previous era when the biggest stars were winners at the highest level on both the British short circuits and around the Mountain course.

Motorbike racing can’t happen without sponsors. Some are the headline supporters of teams or events while others limit their backing to a particular rider.  A few are content to slip their favourite racer some cash at the bar as they enjoy the afterglow of a day’s sport. This month RRI’s Jack Corry meets Thomas Fitzsimons, a man whose love of racing has seen him perform all of those roles.
